HI!!! been a bit since the last blog post!, I've been busy busy lately. But! its time to look back and reflect on the last 12 days or so!! Ive fully offically become a member over at starlight hifi! no longer just provididing web/online services! i have my own company email!! i gotta like talk to their backend web devs soon for our other sites and distributors sites and whatnot, im really stepping up! working on the back end and whatnot is wayyy outta my league but thats okay! i always just kinda learn as i go!

Ive been getting lots and lots of compliments on the company website! looking at the analytics it shows a boost of almost 1000+ veiws on their site weekly!! im so happy that ive been able to help out with that somehow! That and the Company Instagram just got started! i have 0 clue how to run a business instagram so ive just been posting photos of things around the store and whatnot. If it works it works! Just happy to help out wherever and whenever i can lol i havent had a day off in quite some time. every day i do i just show upto work here cuz its so much fun and just a great space to just hangout, i bought my self an early birthday present the other day, just a BOSS OD-3 Bass Overdrive Pedal. its been fun to jam on.

Honestly, Im just ready for it to be tommorow already. Tommorow is my 21st Birthday!!! im so excited im going to pickup my homies and were gonna have a great time! Im So SO SO SOOO EXCITED the finale for DragonBall Daima comes out on my birthday!! all of the last episdoes!! were gonna take shots every time something cool happens lol, which they left off on the best cliffhanger ever. they did the wish to turn goku and his friends back into adults and it cut off right after the wish was cast, so itll start off with goku becoming an adult!! which means were probably right off the bat taking like 3 shots lmfao. Its gonna be so so much fun!

For this weeks Music Reccomendation, we haveeee : Catch 22's Debut Album - Keasbey Nights! This has to be One of if not the best ska/punk albums of all time! its a perfect blends of blast beats, horn, and punk! 9mm and a 3 peice suit has to be my favorite album off the record. Debuting the band in 1998, they later broke up to become the band Streetlight Manifesto which i have had the wonderful opprutunity to see live!! it was such an amazing concert, they played some of the songs from the Catch 22 album! people were crowdsurfing, skanking, moshing, the whole 9 yards! i cannot wait to see them again, Give their album a listen! its worth the time trust me.

Big life update!

I don't know where to begin or how to start. i haven't had any time to update the blog lately because so much has been going on. like ive been saying big things have been in the works, big things have really been in the works! I just recently put my 2 weeks in at the bar I was working at. which has allowed me to focus more time on things ive been passionate about! more hours at the coffee shop has been a huge plus, i always love working there and they love having me there! Just good vibes all around. I should be able to work on the site a lot more often with having my weekends more free.

Now for the big news. Starlight Hifi has given me an opprortunity that I simply cannot refuse. Back on the april 7th blo post i was talking about how they wanted me to start managing their website. It turns out its much more than just that. IM NOW PART OF THE TEAM AT STARLIGHT!!!!! ive always DREAMED of working inside of a music store/record store and now I actually do??!! Im actually writing this blog post from my NEW OFFICE!!! as i am now doing most of their online media,online sales, and photography!! although this current office is somewhat of a temporary spot behind the pedal display, were currently in the middle of a full remodel/redisign for the summer. I should eventually have a permenant office space at some point! here are some photos mid way through the remodel. This is where my office should be eventually! Im so so so excited for when everything fully comes together! it feels so so great to have all this hard work actually pay of and lead to something great, its truely an unexplainable feeling. Ive been working on some other personal projects, should hopefully have them documented in the Projects Tab eventually! one of them flopped. I need to get my CRT repaired Lol! i blew it up feeding the video input 14w @ 8ohms from my guitar amp (trying to use the CRT as an audio visualiser.) when i get it fixed ill document that one, i got it working for a second but i boosted the signal WAYYYYYY to much and ended up frying the damn thing :P .

More on projects! if you havent noticed the lack of PSP camera photography, thats because my psp camera broke! it was tragic a thing of nail polish broke in my bag and got all over the camera attachment (luckly the PSP itself was not harmed :D ) dont worry though, things are in the works. i got this really crappy digital camera from work for free the other day! Its so terrible, it wont be recognised by any windows pc due to it being made for freaking windows 98/2000 so ive been having to use it on my work laptop only lol! it only works through commandline, to get the photos off i have to use the command "sudo gphoto2 --get-all-thumbnails" it doesnt even recognize the photos as photos due to how low quality it is it just sees them as the thumbnails. i plan on circuit bending this camera when i get the chance to so stay tuned for that! heres a quick test photo of the current quality: As for this weeks/months music reccomendation, we have Live Frogs: Sets 1 & 2 ! its Les Claypool with his band "les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade" it features a full cover of pink floyd's "animals" album, honestly the best cover of the album ive ever heard! this was showed to me by Stephen from Starlight Hifi like 2 days ago, ive probably listened to it atleast a dozen times since then while working on things around the store. its totally worth the listen if you ever get the chance to! Les Claypool is always a master class act on the bass! he has to be my second favorite bassist of all time, right behind Geddy Lee from RUSH. did you know Les Claypool and Geddy Lee are good friends? they worked together back in 2020 during covid for the primus rush tribute tour for neil pearts passing, Les got bass lessons from the Ged to sound more like him for the tour. really touching stuff.

Good Days Ahead

Greetings! ive been making it a routine to weekly update the site recently. that way my code knowlege either gets better or atleast stays the same. that and it gets me out of the house to just go to the coffee shop where i work at to just to focus in a different enviroment. Big improvements to my agoraphobic behaviors and anxietys just hanging in public spaces has def helped to some extent. also free coffee cuz i work there! Good days are ahead, Big Big plans are in the works, ive been working on another album! its about to drop hopefully next month, hopefully before my birthday.

I figured out all the stuff i need to do to get my music onto spotify and other more popular streaming services!!! that is going to happen soon believe me guys when i say great things are about to happen i mean it! just gotta wait for my next paycheck and things will be rolling!!

Music reccomendation of the week! im gonna start reccomending some good artists and stuff, This week we have Jungle Fatigue Vol.1 ! One of my absolute faves from the Jungle/DNB genre. Made By Sawteeth(Jungle Fatigue Records) This album really encapsulates the feeling of like the Gran Tourismo lobby music on ps2. absolutely masterclass in atmosphere. I mightve burnt myself a CD for my car lol. its such a good driving album for road trips! cannot reccomend Sawteeth enough! listen to his music!

HEYYY!! It's Definately been a minute. ive been on the grind non-stop. working 4 jobs to save towards the apocolyspe. I CANNOT BELIEVE I GOT MY DREAM JOB!!!!! RAAAAAH HOLY SHIT! My dream has always been to work at a record store or Hifi shop. and wow now i do do that! mainly just their online sales and product photography but due to this website and blog, i now do their website design and newsletter!!!!! i cannot belive it! like it feels like i have won the lottery. also, heres another one of my songs. its been a second since ive released music. Vegeta Gets Hit By A Thermonuclear Blast Im working towards getting things on more major streaming platforms like spotify. STAY TUNED FOR THAT THAT SHOULD BE SOON ILL MAKE ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT!! a few days ago this happened. my limited knowlege tells me this is either legit and trump wants my site down (lmfao highly unlikely) or this is just some troll, it honestly just kinda served as a reminder that this site exists and that i should update it more often, hereby making this blog post! Hii! missed making these i havent touched this site besides when i stay up at like 4am unable to sleep from anxieties about the future. Just remember, we will not go silently into that dark night. they will not be able to stop all of us. our message will spread, like wildfire.

woah, what can i say to get started here. I ended up making a few beats over the last year that i never got around to putting out, ended up putting them out as An Album Cool Okay Great, Theyre absolutely terrible. Most were made while on a substance or multiple, some will make sense in 4 years. Anyway, those were just the start. i took what i learned from THOSE to make THESE just a sample EP of whats to come in the NEW YEAR! NEW YEAR NEW BEATS WERE COOKING! ive been hyped on the expierence of making them so heres One Last Sample Track For the New Year ?! My Ex and I were working on our own collaborative site that we can use as an artfront/portfolio/business thingy the other day (REDACTED) and I got thinking that I should make my own personal site just to mess around and test how to do things for the main collaborative one, that and i used to have one on here back in 2017(?) i just have a lot of fun getting a little baked and getting lost in code lmao, most of the stuff ive done here on this one just today has been a learning curve and just so so much fun! i freaking love coding i could talk about getting lost in it all day. probabably have been working on this site like all day lol~! started on it like 9 hours ago cant believe all the stuff ive gotten done just today! there should be some photos below of the work ive done.
